Monolithic zirconia restorations have become increasingly popular recently . Digitally designed and milled in house to exacting standards. FCZ crowns are polished and extremely smooth. Despite the materials hard nature high polished zirconia is extremely smooth which minimizes abrasion. Multi layered and ever increasing aesthetic advancements are moving FCZ to the anterior.

The strength of zirconia and the beauty of layered porcelain. "The aesthetic alloy" We can use zirconia in many of the same ways we use gold and palladium  based alloys; fully covered frameworks or  zirconia occlusion with a buccal facing.  Zirconia substructures are very strong and versatile. Zirconia can be very translucent if desired or opaque to mask dark base dentin; then layered with porcelain to give it life.
